Councilman Addabbo Co-Sponsors Worldwide Day Of Play With The S.T.A.R.S. Youth Center

As part of the Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play, on Saturday, October 2, 2004 Councilman Joseph Addabbo and the S.T.A.R.S. Youth Center will be sponsoring and hosting games and festivities from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. S.T.A.R.S. will be providing various games where children ages 8 to 14 can play and win prizes. The event is FREE for all who participate.

Worldwide Day of Play is Nickelodeon's Let's Just Play initiative to draw attention to the importance of play on an international scale by galvanizing people everywhere to take time out of their day to spend some time for recreational purposes. People all over the world will take a moment to recognize and celebrate a child's fundamental right to play.
